Dolby Live at Park MGM is a residency theater on the south end of the Strip, built for pop and rock artists who settle into Las Vegas for a run of dates. It sits between the intimacy of a classic showroom and the scale of an arena, which is a big part of its appeal.
Location
The venue is at 3770 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, inside the Park MGM resort. Its neighbor T-Mobile Arena is close by, so check which venue your event is actually in before you set off.
History
The theater opened on December 17, 2016, as the Park Theater, with Stevie Nicks on the opening bill. It was renamed Dolby Live in 2021. It holds up to 6,400 people and has hosted residencies by Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga.
What kind of night to expect
As a residency room, Dolby Live is designed around a repeated production rather than a one-off tour stop. That usually means staging, lighting and sound built for this space. With a capacity of up to 6,400, there is real variety between sections, so it is worth studying the seat plan: our seat maps explained guide shows what to look for. For help deciding between residencies, see choosing a resident show.
Tickets
Helios Club is an independent journal: we do not sell or resell tickets, take no bookings and are not affiliated with this venue. Buy from the venue's own box office or the official ticketing outlet it names on its website, and read buying show tickets safely before you pay.
Visitor notes
- Check the venue's own site for schedules, bag policy and parking before you go.
- Allow time to walk through the resort to the theater entrance, especially on busy nights.
- In summer, plan any walking along the Strip for the evening; the average July high is about 104.5 °F. See beating the desert heat.
- For transport options, read getting around the Strip.
